So spring is here with temperatures about to soar into the 80′s. Music fills the neighborhoods as windows open and bikes are flying down streets everywhere. Winters over! Thank fucking god! Everyone let out a sigh of relief, then lets go camp and roast dogs over fires and bust out the acoustics! Time to live it up again and get crazy!
Speaking of getting crazy, internet sensation Dyke Faggon is making a comeback and getting ready to hit the web waves hardcore. After nearly a two year hiatus (Something about the apocalypse and Iceland?) I had a chance to speak with him recently and hes stoked about this spring and summer. He told me hes currently working on an album, and of course some more videos! He wouldn’t give me all the details on the album, but he did say that it would feature quite a few collaborations with some artists that he refused to name.
For those of you that don’t know Dyke Faggon, he is a walking, talking parody of singer/entertainer Mike Patton. He is also a huge fan, though is accused frequently of being a Mike Patton basher and homophobe. He is neither of these by the way, just an overly obsessed Patton fan that has a unique sense of humor and a creative personality that is set in overdrive! If you haven’t seen his youtube videos I suggest you check them out! Here’s a good start. So now they are saying on weather.gov that on Friday, a cold front will move through the area, and bring with it thunder storms…some of which may be strong…Pray to the south wind and hope for some more humidity!
