Last week, a few of us Tavernites, Sunflower House Alumni might I add, headed over to a house show at the Olive House Co-op. We were there to see a great band by the name of Spirits of the Red City. I took some drunken video…here is the result! Headed out tonight to go see Minus The Bear at the Granada…might have some video of that soon! The new store director starts tomorrow, destined to fire-bomb our chill factor into smithereens! She comes riding on a chariot full of whorish sticklers, masturbating to corporate policy handbooks! And she comes at a time when our department seems to have been struck by an EF5 consumer whirlwind…dear God! Help us all! I just have to make it to Tuesday afternoon and all will be good…then it will be time to relax and wash this bad taste from my lips! For Tuesday night we fornicate with debauchery and God said, “It is good!”. We will head towards downtown Larry, and pour intoxicating spirits into our souls, and enjoy great music played by a band called Minus The Bear! Tuesday can’t come fast enough! Goodnight and wish me luck! -Griffin Tried out a new color for the blog…I call it, “McDonalds 1980″. Have yet to decide if it works…feel free to send me YOUR opinions. So take 10 on lazy blogger starts to blog again…but no no no! Not yet…I have indeed been a busy bee, buzzing here and buzzing there, and I have a video to prove it! A couple Videos as a matter-of-fact, but the trick is this…I started a new blog VIA Tumblr for Larry Weirdos, the project name for me and Dr. Gamage’s “Experimental” recordings/videos. I have uploaded a song called Fun Drum and posted the video that started it all, entitled Cool Like You, complete with Dr. Gamage’s channeling of the late Hunter S. Thompson. I re-arranged the “control room” today. I think it turned out pretty good! It’s more streamlined now, and accessible from one chair unlike the last setup…here is the twittpic
Sparing no mercy at that! For months I have been crippled with this terrible fever…sometimes writing whole posts, only to delete them afterward in a fit of rage! The doctors have no advice when it comes to this condition…and why would they? They are much to busy peddling corporate drugs to take the time to become “True” doctors any way. But thats a topic for another day! My creativity still lives on in other mediums; recording, and mixing as of late. I am still in the studio with the famous Dyke Faggon, and I must say, the album is coming along very nicely! Perhaps I will post a teaser soon, but until then I suggest you watch a couple videos! Expect more postings now..I’m back in the MF game! Enjoy So I was sitting out on the back of the car enjoying the light show south of town when I snapped this picture! I need to get a better camera and go storm chasing soon!
So I am not sure about ya’ll, but I am a little disappointed in those “Storms” earlier! First of all, there was very little thunder and lightning. Second of all, they were a little windy with lots of rain, and then gone 5 minutes later. I miss the good old days of storms rolling in, and the sky turning green. We still may have some crazy storms tonight yet, but I hold my breath not! Lawrence always misses good storms. Not to mention, meteorologists just build up hype and then nothing happens! At least its just the beginning of spring! Here are some pictures I took of the storm building and coming…plus a few web screen sots showing how I use my “Nerd-it-ity” to chase storms through the internet from the safety of home base. I also shot some video. Perhaps I will upload it tomorrow if I don’t get too drunk tonight to edit it of course! For’ tis’ the Tavern after all!

So spring is here with temperatures about to soar into the 80′s. Music fills the neighborhoods as windows open and bikes are flying down streets everywhere. Winters over! Thank fucking god! Everyone let out a sigh of relief, then lets go camp and roast dogs over fires and bust out the acoustics! Time to live it up again and get crazy!
For those of you that don’t know Dyke Faggon, he is a walking, talking parody of singer/entertainer Mike Patton. He is also a huge fan, though is accused frequently of being a Mike Patton basher and homophobe. He is neither of these by the way, just an overly obsessed Patton fan that has a unique sense of humor and a creative personality that is set in overdrive! If you haven’t seen his youtube videos I suggest you check them out! Here’s a good start. Obviously you should check out Mike Patton as well, because if you don’t know of him, your fucking missing out! (See Mr Bungle, Faith No More, Fantomas, Tomahawk)
